BRITTANY BENNETT, MA
Medical Illustrator & 3D Specialist
Brittany is a science-loving artist from West Palm Beach, FL. She explored the fun of illustrating anatomy as a kid, drawing monsters with “pipes” (digestive tracts) from her imagination on scrap paper in her dad's office.
Originally a figurative charcoal artist and oil-painter, she earned a BFA in 2016 through a coordinated degree program at the University of Pennsylvania and the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts where she majored in Fine Art and minored in Biology. She earned her Master of Arts in Medical and Biological Illustration from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. There, she discovered ways to jump off a canvas and create scientific art in 3D, including models of anatomy, cells, and proteins based on raw imaging data.
In 2019, she joined Stream Studios and the Department of Radiology at CHOP, where she enjoys collaborating with the CHAMP 3D Printing Lab.
