OUTREACH & EDUCATION
From STEM to STEAM.
Medical illustration lives at the intersection of art and science. It is a small, cohesive field with great depth of talent. It is not unusual for us to receive requests to present our work and to show how we create that work as well as its underlying functional principles. We both value and enjoy being involved in these educational and outreach projects. We routinely give talks to all age groups within our local and regional communities as well as talks at national meetings. Additionally, we have been involved in efforts to teach drawing to medical students and residents at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.
